Four expo zones
The expo is about helping attendees connect, discover, learn, and exchange ideas. Nothing helps facilitate that more than the four expo zones—designed to foster learning about emerging trends and connection with peers who share common goals.
- Innovate Zone: Design software and systems, AI, generative design, design simulation, AR/VR, digital twinning, building automation, and the metaverse
- Design Zone: Interior architecture, interior design, design awards, design trends, and designing with AI
- Build Zone: Wood, metal, and concrete construction, project collaboration, material science, sustainable materials, automation, additive construction, and prefab construction
- Prosper Zone: Practice management, investing, firm finance, careers, business development, and succession planning
Each zone will feature CE theater where you can take a course right on the expo floor, along with a fun and unique interactive experience—including a hands-on carbon-neutral demo in the Build Zone and a Midjourney activation in the Innovate Zone—to foster real-time networking, learning, and inspiration. Related exhibitors will also be clustered around each zone, making it easy to continue the conversation.
One-on-one time & technical advice
Our industry is brimming with innovative products and materials. But architecture professionals don’t always have access to technical experts to answer their product questions—until now. The AIA25 app lets you schedule one-on-one meetings with exhibitors and their technical experts on the expo floor.
CE with exhibitors
Take a short course with leading building product manufacturers, right on the expo floor. 110+ courses cover topics including sustainability, window solutions, mass timber, paint technologies, roofing, AI, and much more. These courses are extremely popular—do some advance planning and mark your calendar for the expo credit sessions you don’t want to miss.

Major media outlets, including all the top media brands in architecture and construction, will be in attendance to cover exclusive new product launches from some of the most influential exhibiting companies at the expo. While we can’t disclose the companies and products yet, the expo is guaranteed to generate a major buzz.

AIA NextGen Lounge
The AIA NextGen Lounge is a space dedicated to the development of students and emerging AEC professionals. Don’t miss free professional headshots, career coaching, portfolio and resume review, elevator pitch practice, licensure resources, and social events. Take advantage of these free resources, which can make all the difference in your career.
Interactive experiences
There will be interactive experiences at each expo zone to inspire you and help build connections. The Innovate Zone will feature a Midjourney activation, the Design Zone will host a paper to AI fabrication lab, the Build Zone will have a carbon-neutral demo, and the Prosper Zone will have an opportunity to create your own architecture flipbook.
We’re also planning parties, prizes, games, parks, and wellness! Play Expo Bingo, track your progress on the leaderboard, and compete for the grand prize. Expo Happy Hour ends each day, giving you the perfect chance to unwind and connect.
