Stephen Owens is a Project Executive at Suffolk. In this role, Stephen provides strong, effective overall leadership and direction to the project team. He is responsible for ensuring complete transparency and collaboration are implemented throughout the entire project. Stephen serves as a direct point of contact, ensuring the delivery of safety, quality, and innovation.
When Stephen first began at Suffolk, he served as an Assistant Project Manager, acting as a direct resource to the Project Manager in overseeing the day-to-day project management operations. During his time in this role, Stephen supported the Northeastern University Curry Student Center Renovation and Hostelling International Boston, an adaptive reuse project that achieved LEED Silver certification. Since then, Stephen has been involved in numerous significant projects, utilizing his expertise in large-scale commercial and residential developments. Notable projects include the Parcel 12 Office Tower, a new $359 million, 21-story retail and office building spanning the eight-lane Massachusetts Turnpike adjacent to the MBTA and Amtrak Transit Line; the Parcel K Hyatt Place Hotel and Ora Seaport & Garage, projects valued at $86 million and $168 million respectively, both receiving LEED Silver certification; Hudson Exchange Phase 1A project, a new $137 million, 35-story cast-in-place residential tower consisting of 421 units; and Continuum, the $126 million LEED Gold apartment building owned by Harvard University.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
