Mark is a founding principal of OverUnder and a professor of architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He co-authored Heroic: Concrete Architecture and the New Boston and edited the book Henry N. Cobb: Words & Works 1948–2018. Mark’s professional and advocacy work has centered on a sustained involvement with Boston City Hall, including a conservation management plan, the plaza renovation, interior departmental redesigns, and successful efforts to landmark the building. Mark was a member and chair of the Boston Art Commission for a decade and has curated dozens of exhibitions at the Pinkcomma Gallery. He won the AIA’s Young Architects Award and was selected as an Out100 honoree, a designation that recognizes “culture-shifting impact” by members of the LGBTQ+ community.
