Eric Lindebak is a Partner at Safdie Rabines Architects and has been a key leader within the firm since joining in 2001, when he relocated to San Diego from his native Kansas. With experience spanning commercial, academic, mixed-use, civic, and infrastructure work across the United States and the Middle East, Eric brings a broad perspective to the design and delivery of complex developments and master plans.

Eric has played an instrumental role in Safdie Rabines’ growth and continues to lead major civic and institutional work through all phases of planning, design, and construction. His portfolio includes significant projects for University of California San Diego, including the North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Neighborhood, the Ted and Jean Scripps Marine Conservation and Technology Facility, the Epstein Family Amphitheater, and the Structural and Materials Engineering Building. He is also leading major new construction and renovations of the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center at UCLA, currently under construction, and is recognized for his work on bridges and infrastructure projects within and beyond California, including the Lusail Pedestrian Bridges in Qatar. His experience across a wide range of delivery methods—including P3, Integrated Project Delivery, CMAR, CMGC, and Design/Bid/Build—brings a practical and informed perspective to large-scale institutional and community-focused development.
