Cathi Schar

Cathi Ho Schar, FAIA, is an Associate Professor at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa School of Architecture, and the director of the University of Hawaiʻi Community Design Center (UHCDC), where she integrates education, research, and public service. As a Hawai'i-serving teaching-practice, the center provides applied learning, professional development, and civic leadership opportunities for students and long term partnerships between university and government stakeholders that aim at systems-level change. Ho Schar currently serves on the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture Board of Directors.
