Robert Picardy, AIA is Principal and Owner of Epstein Joslin + Picardy Architects. With 20 years of professional practice, he joined the firm in 2006 and leads the design and delivery of cultural arts, educational, and residential commissions with a focus on performance and learning environments. His work is grounded in close collaboration with clients, artists, educators, and communities, shaping spaces that support mission, program, and audience experience while reflecting the distinctive character of the institutions they serve.

Rob provided design leadership on renowned performing arts destinations including the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center for the La Jolla Music Society and The Groton Hill Music Center. His broader portfolio includes feasibility studies, master planning, and strategic design work for organizations across New England and beyond, with recent and ongoing efforts spanning opera and theatre projects, academic music facilities, and community-based cultural initiatives. His work includes projects for Mechanics' Hall (Portland), The Theater Offensive (Boston), The Preservation Society of Newport County, The Boston Symphony Orchestra, La Jolla Music Society, Groton Hill Music, Rockport Music, Gloucester Stage Company, and Ogunquit Playhouse.
