David Marshall, AIA is president of San Diego’s highly respected preservation firm Heritage Architecture & Planning. Heritage specializes in restoring historic structures. He has been involved in the assessment, rehabilitation, and restoration of many of San Diego’s landmarks including the world-famous Hotel del Coronado, Spreckels Organ Pavilion and Western Metal Supply Co. David is an expert in the field of preservation architecture and has served as President of the California Preservation Foundation and was a member of San Diego’s Historical Resources Board. He is currently Chair of the AIA San Diego Preservation & Reuse Committee. David has also written two books, San Diego’s Balboa Park and Forgotten San Diego.
