The $174M Hotel del Coronado restoration project, completed in June 2025, is believed to be the largest restoration project in San Diego history. Join us for an in-person tour conducted by the design and construction team.
Find out how missing historic features were replicated from historic photos and how non-Victorian alterations were removed. The restoration also includes ADA upgrades, a replica fountain, decorative lighting, and new guestroom design and courtyard landscaping.
This fully ADA-accessible tour will be led by preservation architect David Marshall, AIA, of Heritage Architecture & Planning. Also joining will be a historian from The Del and Swinerton Builders, the general contractor.
