As Principal at Oakland-based PYATOK architecture + urban design, Adrianne brings over 20 years of experience and leadership to student and multifamily residential developments throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Her expertise is in affordable housing, walkable urban design, participatory design, and sustainable urban development strategies. Sharing this knowledge widely, she has served on design award juries for Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and HUD. She has spoken to diverse communities on sustainable and affordable housing design, including in Kuala Lumpur at the 2025 Union of International Architects conference. Adrianne has served AIA in many capacities, including as the 2024 Chair of the AIA’s Housing & Community Development committee and the 2020 President of the AIA San Francisco chapter. The AIA recognized Adrianne nationally as a Young Architect of the Year in 2015. Most recently, Adrianne was the inaugural recipient of the 2025 AIA San Francisco's Marsha Maytum, FAIA, Citizen Architect Award. A Bay Area native and avid movie connoisseur, Adrianne holds a Master of Architecture from Tulane University with a minor in Film Studies.
