An associate at VMDO Architects, Michael supported the design of DC's first net-zero community center, Stead Park Recreation Center. He is also guiding the design-build of the new Marlow Heights Community Center in Maryland, which has implemented an extensive engagement process to transform community programming. Additionally, Michael has served as the Associate Director for the AIA Virginia Board of Directors, and is currently chairing the planning committee for the 2024 AIA VA Design Forum.
