Winning Together: How Architects Help Communities Build Resilience

Some communities start the race toward resilience already behind. Whether it's limited resources, lack of preparation, and/or fractured relationships, recovery is harder to achieve when disaster strikes. But with foresight, collaboration, and strategic investment, communities can minimize losses and thrive.

This workshop will immerse you in the dynamics that shape how some communities succeed while others struggle after a disaster. Real-world examples will highlight the pivotal role architects play in anticipating community shocks and reducing risks. Through presentation, activities, and shared insights, you'll acquire a clear and powerful vision for how architects can help communities win against disasters.
