ET205 – Biophilic Design, Therapy, & Wellness: Joy Evans Therapeutic Recreation Center

Additional fee, registration required.

A beacon of light for neurodivergent sensory recreation, Joy Evans is a Parks and Recreation project that is deeply connected to the heart of the Ward 7 community.

Join this tour to witness how DLR Group used sensory design to engage the community through the 37,000 sq. ft. renovation situated in a residential neighborhood between the Anacostia River Park and Fort Circle Park. You'll be inspired by this project's incorporation of biophilic design, focus on therapy and wellness, and emphasis on connection to the surrounding community and beyond.

This is a bus tour.
