Bea Spolidoro, AIA, WELL AP, LEED Green Associate is an Italian 2011 graduate from the University Politecnico di Milano, with a Masters of Architecture (MArch). She has been working in Pittsburgh, PA with Rothschild Doyno Collaborative since 2012. She regularly volunteers for the AIA Pittsburgh chapter and with their Young Architect Forum (YAF) and various other committees. Since 2014, she has focused on the YAF presence both online and in the Pittsburgh architecture community. The goal has been to increase the general outreach capabilities of YAF. For these efforts, in 2015 she was one of the 10 recipients of the Jason Pettigrew Memorial ARE National scholarship. In 2016, she served as a Juror for the 2017 AIA Institute Honor Awards. Since 2017, she is part of the AIA Pittsburgh Board of Directors. In 2018 she becaome Chair of YAF Pittsburgh and was nominated one of the Top 20 Under 40 at a national level by the Engineering News Record.
Bea is a contributor the AIA Pittsburgh Columns online magazine. She is looking forward to leaving a mark in the architecture community by helping other emerging professionals, and by sharing the knowledge she gained between the United States and Italy. In her free time, she challenges her creativity in every possible way - whether in the kitchen, at the gym, or in a workshop.
