Dr. Jeri Brittin is a public health research scientist with a professional design background. Her strategic orientation drives her focus on outcomes-driven design. She believes that design, as it shapes our places and spaces, must be leveraged to achieve outcomes that matter to people, organizations, and communities. Jeri leads Research at HDR, with a portfolio addressing human outcomes in workplace, healthcare, learning, and community environments. Her expertise includes quantitative and mixed methods research designs, and approaches from systems science. A frequent speaker, she strives to disseminate work in both research and design communities, and she believes that each group has much to offer the other. Jeri serves as Vice Chair of a non-profit focused on creating healthy communities, and she is a member of the AIA's Design and Health Leadership Group and the IWBI WELL "Movement" Concept Advisory group.
