Joseph (Joe) Burak is at the forefront of leveraging AI and data to help companies in the construction industry build smarter, more efficient, and sustainable operations. As the founder and chief strategist of TRANSiT Strategy & Analytics, Joe advises executives and teams on integrating AI to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and deliver measurable value. A firm believer in empowering teams, Joe emphasizes using technology to complement human expertise rather than replace it.

Joe’s career spans nearly two decades with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Federation, where he held leadership roles, including six years as Executive Director of the Home Builders Association of Greater Little Rock. There, he launched Green Built Arkansas, a pioneering program that equipped builders to design high-performing, energy-efficient homes. At NAHB, he also led a 20-person federation services team, providing strategic insights, membership development, and consulting services to support association leaders nationwide.

An engaging and knowledgeable speaker, Joe frequently presents on the transformative potential of AI in construction. His recent appearances include sessions at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, the Southeast Builders Conference (SEBC), and the Washington Manufactured Housing Association (WMHA).

Joe holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA with a certificate in business analytics from George Washington University. He lives in Virginia with his wife and two children. Outside of work, Joe enjoys watching college football, cheering for the Washington Spirit, and shuttling kids to travel soccer and swim practice.
