During my tenure as Senior Technical Director on The Hub on Causeway project, I coordinated the needs of Phase 1 tenants and planned for future tower phases while balancing the complex interests of both public and private stakeholders. My focus centered on devising creative, elegant, and cost-effective solutions to address the site’s unique challenges.
My passion for building and design has its roots on my family’s fourth-generation potato farm, where I learned the fundamentals of construction through hands-on experimentation—from tinkering with toys to welding structural beams by age 18. These formative experiences shaped my approach to architecture, blending technical rigor with an unrelenting drive for innovation.
Today, as a Northeast Regional Design Realization Leader, I oversee the cultivation of technical expertise, the development of emerging professionals, the mitigation of risk, and the implementation of sustainability initiatives across five offices—supporting over 1,000 staff and managing millions of square feet of architectural projects. In tandem with these responsibilities and in my role as a Technical Director, I guide teams through every stage of design, from initial concept to fully realized construction. Whether tackling large-scale projects like The Hub on Causeway or more modest endeavors, my goal remains the same: to honor the craft of building, push the boundaries of design, and deliver sustainable structures that embody collaboration, ingenuity, and quality.
