Jess Baccari is a Project Manager and Director of Learning and Development at Siena Construction Corporation, a Cambridge-based construction management firm specializing in building services for the life sciences, higher education, commercial, retail, and non-profit sectors. Jess provides leadership and supervision on all aspects of construction projects – estimating, scheduling, field coordination, client services, and business development. In addition to her 6 years of experience at Siena, Jess joined the construction field with 11 years of architectural professional experience.

Jess is an active member of the AEC community. She served in numerous leadership positions at the BSA including Co-Creator/Co-Chair of the Women in Design Mid-Career Mentorship Program. Currently, Jess is the Co-Chair of the AGC Committee for Diversity and Inclusion and a Board Member of the AGC. Jess is passionate about mentorship and hopes to lead the AEC world into a more equitable and balanced industry. She is currently a Mentor in the AGC's BuildHER Mentorship Program. Jess strives to lead as an example for developing great female leaders in the AEC industry. She was recently awarded the AGC Building Women in Construction Emerging Leader of the Year in 2023 and Member Distinction Award in 2024.

Jess holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architecture from Washington University in St Louis, where she currently sits on the Regional Cabinet.
