Mr. Howland is experienced in the practice of design, project management, planning, construction and development of transportation, mixed use, multi-family residential, banking/financial, and commercial projects. He has extensive knowledge of project management services, construction documentation, building technology and project planning. His involvement with a variety of different project types gives him the experience to help projects through conception to completion with a diverse approach to project delivery.
Mr. Howland’s collective knowledge and expertise in transportation and his ability to understand the multidiscipline perspective to deliver comprehensive integrated solutions has led to many successful projects. His model for successful leadership for project delivery is based on working together collectively and collaboratively by creating an environment in which every participating party succeeds, and an integrated solution is achieved.
One of the greatest privileges over the many years in Mr. Howland’s career has been being part of the teams working on transportation projects around the Boston area to create accessible and inclusive stations for the MBTA. These projects have been a part of the greater fabric of the city, including Copley, Arlington, Science Park, Government Center and Wollaston Station all which have contributed to a better more inclusive environment and revitalized their areas of the city.
