Bob Schaeffner

Bob is a national leader in the design of advanced academic science buildings and played an important role in developing PAYETTE’s evolution as one of the top design firms in the country that specializes in this complex building type. Anticipating shifts in pedagogy and the needs of interdisciplinary research, many of Bob’s projects have been widely recognized as prototypical. He has led a number of science center projects at prestigious colleges and universities which have positively transformed entire campus precincts, including the transformative Science and Engineering Precinct at Northeastern University, which includes the award-winning ISEC, EXP and PedX.
