Andrew Barnett is an Associate at Pickard Chilton with experience designing and coordinating all phases of design and construction services. He has held key roles and collaborated on numerous large-scale, life science, mixed-use, and master planning developments. In design and in practice, he seeks to connect with the communities he serves and engage collaborators to reveal better solutions than could be achieved individually – envisioning a better tomorrow, together.
Mr. Barnett most recently served as project manager and designer for the new AstraZeneca’s Headquarters and Research Facility at 290 Binney in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was a designer for 325 Main Street, a 417,000 GSF next-generation office building for Google located in the heart of Kendall Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Additional key project experience includes The RO Development in Houston, Texas and a 1.25M GSF mass timber campus in Menlo Park, California.
Mr. Barnett received his Bachelors of Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University. He is currently an active member of the ACE Connecticut Board and is active with the ACE New Haven chapter and teams as well. He currently serves as the Connecticut representative to the AIA National Associates Committee as well as the Mentorship Chair for the Penn State Architecture Alumni Board. In 2022 he was recognized with AIA Connecticut’s Emerging Professional Award of Excellence.
