Frans de Witte (Rotterdam, 1973) joined MVRDV in 1996, before joining the company he briefly worked at JP van Eesteren contractors. In 2016 Frans became Partner in MVRDV, and is Part of the Management Team. He is currently leading one of the design studio’s of MVRDV.
Frans designs and leads large-scale mix-use projects and inner city redevelopment opportunities. He’s greatly experienced in construction projects and has executed many buildings within time and budget, he has participated in MVRDV projects such as Silodam Housing, Glass Farm Schijndel, Balancing Barn, The Pushed Slab, Salt, Casa Kwantes, and the Sky Vault Penthouse in New York. Frans and his Studio are currently working on a 380K sf mix use tower in San Francisco, The Radio Tower and Hotel in New York, The Modernist in Rotterdam, The Sax - Rotterdam, and Westerpark West, a master plan with 12 residential blocks in Amsterdam.
