Nicholas Kramer, LEED AP, Assoc AIA, serves as Director of Technology at LPA Design Studios, where he leads the firm’s digital strategy, technology innovation, and enterprise data initiatives. As leader of Inspire Design, LPA’s integrated technology organization encompassing Design Technologies, Information Technologies, Business Technologies, Data and AI, and Product Development teams, he drives the convergence of architecture, engineering, data, and technology to advance design excellence, operational performance, and client outcomes.

Working across LPA’s multidisciplinary architecture and engineering practice, Nicholas develops and executes strategies that transform how teams design, deliver, and operate the built environment. His leadership spans digital delivery, data governance, artificial intelligence, automation, emerging technologies, and building information modeling (BIM) ensuring that digital innovation remains tightly aligned with practice and business objectives.

With three decades of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, Nicholas has led the implementation of transformative technologies on projects ranging from complex healthcare and education facilities to large-scale commercial developments. He is widely recognized for helping organizations harness data and digital workflows to improve decision making, collaboration, sustainability, and project performance.

Nicholas believes that the most impactful use of technology is to enhance the human experience. His work centers on helping architects, healthcare providers, and organizations make better decisions through data, creating environments that support healing, foster connection, and improve outcomes for patients, families, and caregivers.

Deeply committed to the future of healthcare, Nicholas serves on the Hyundai Cancer Center Board at Rady Children’s Health, where he champions initiatives that advance the intersection of technology and patient centered care to reinforce the role of thoughtful design in supporting health, dignity, and well-being.
