Manon Koestoer
Manon is a licensed architect and laboratory planner with more than two decades of experience shaping high-performance research and healthcare facilities across Asia. As Principal and Practice Leader for Life Science at HKS, he leads the design of advanced laboratories environments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and future readiness.
He was also the founder of Spatiality Studio Pte Ltd, a practice dedicated to creating flexible, efficient, and human-centered scientific spaces. His work spans life science facilities, cleanrooms, and research institutes, always guided by a commitment to environmental performance and the integration of technology with design.
Beyond practice, Manon has been seving the AIA International as Singapore Country Representative since 2020 and as President of Southeast Asia Section 2025, where he curates cross-disciplinary dialogues that bridge architecture, science, and culture. He is a passionate advocate for safety and wellness, believing that the research facilities of tomorrow must enable discovery with focus on people and environment.
