SITELAB urban studio

Eri Suzuki is an Associate Principal at SITELAB urban studio, an urban design and strategy firm based in San Francisco. She has over 15 years of experience spanning both urban design and architecture, and is driven by the belief that collective design is a powerful agent of positive change. Throughout her career, she has translated this into action, tackling complex public space challenges ranging in scale from sidewalks to entire neighborhoods.

As a multi-disciplinary leader at the firm, Eri guides the planning and entitlement process for major projects like the Pier 70 Waterfront Redevelopment (a 28-acre mixed-use development at a historic shipyard) and San José Downtown West (an 80-acre transit-oriented development). She also spearheads tactical urban design initiatives, including partnering with LavaMaeˣ on Pop-up Care Villages for unhoused communities and shaping the Downtown SF Public Realm Action Plan for post-pandemic recovery.

A licensed architect in Texas, Eri holds a Master's in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She co-chairs the SPUR Planning and Architecture Council.
