Roger Hartung is a Principal at IKM Architecture, a firm with approximately 45 employees, with offices in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Columbus. Mr. Hartung is responsible for design, management, administration, and production of large capital and sophisticated projects. His specialties include Healthcare Planning and Design with a subspecialty in Behavioral Health Architecture. Mr. Hartung received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 1986. He is a Licensed Architect in six states, holds a National Council of Registration Boards Certificate, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He was Principal-in-charge of the recently completed Southwood 108 Bed Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital in Upper St. Clair Pennsylvania. This new 65,000 square foot facility treats children and adolescents that struggle with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive concerns in a safe and caring environment. Southwood Hospital helps individuals ages 4-18 who are experiencing severe symptoms of mental health disorder achieve emotional stabilization and a higher-level functioning allowing them to step down to a lower level of care and start to transition back to their daily lives.
