Mona is a design leader whose work is rooted in generosity, collaboration, and a belief in public spaces as places of abundance. Her practice spans architecture, planning, and engagement, with a focus on educational and civic projects that support learning and collective life. She approaches design as a shared endeavor, shaped through close collaboration with clients, communities, and project teams.
Mona is deeply engaged in the Seattle design community. She has co-chaired the AIA Seattle Honor Awards and served on the AIA Seattle Design in Public Board, and she regularly participates as a guest juror at the University of Washington College of Built Environments. Her work has been recognized with multiple AIA Seattle Honor Awards and the National AIA Associates Award.
