Amy Stone

Program Delivery Manager

Boston Consulting Group

Amy Stone is an architect, educator, and strategist whose work focuses on helping design organizations build financially strong, resilient, and high-performing practices. She holds both an MBA with a concentration in finance and a Master of Architecture from Georgia Tech, a combination that grounds her perspective at the intersection of design, business strategy, and financial performance.

At Boston Consulting Group, Amy leads end-to-end program delivery for global real estate initiatives, managing strategy, budgets, risk, and execution across complex, multi-phase capital projects. Her experience stewarding large investments informs her approach to firm success: rigorous financial planning, clear decision frameworks, and operational systems that enable teams to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Earlier in practice, Amy worked across higher education, commercial workplace, adaptive reuse, multi-family housing, and residential architecture. This range gives her a grounded view of how design firms operate, where they encounter financial pressure, and what drives profitability across varied project types. She is known for translating ambiguity into clarity, aligning creative goals with financial realities, and designing processes that support sustainable growth.

Amy teaches Entrepreneurship in Professional Practice at Georgia Tech, where she prepares emerging architects to start, build, and lead successful firms. Her curriculum emphasizes business models, revenue strategy, financial literacy, leadership, and the operational disciplines required for long-term resilience. She has also taught at Kennesaw State University, helping students connect design thinking with the fundamentals of professional practice.

Across her work, Amy focuses on the connection between people, practice, and performance. She believes successful firms require intentional strategy, transparent financial management, and cultures that empower teams to thrive. She speaks and advises on how design leaders can navigate change, strengthen their business foundations, and build practices positioned for sustained success.
