Emily Goldenberg is a designer, manager, and team-builder with over a decade of experience leading conservation, civic, and education projects. Her work focuses on engaging partners and interdisciplinary teams in the design process, translating shared visions into clear design frameworks and decision-making tools that help ambitious ideas become implementable realities.
As Design Director at MASS, Emily unites design, ecology, and systems thinking across a diverse range of scales and typologies, including the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, Redemption Hospital, African Leadership University, the Eames Institute of Infinite Curiosity, and Reteti Education Center. Most notably, she spent four years in MASS's Kigali office leading the design and construction supervision of the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Her work is driven by a belief that thoughtful design rooted in collaboration and ecological responsibility can turn bold visions into lasting impact.
