Emma Van Lieshout is a licensed Mechanical Engineer working as an Energy & Sustainability Manager at The RMR Group. At The RMR Group, she created and oversees the in-house LEED O&M certification program, increasing the number of LEED certified properties managed by The RMR Group by over 200% since 2020. She also manages properties within a real-time data monitoring program which acts as a building performance bootcamp, closely monitoring building energy and water usage in real-time and optimizing sequences within the building automation system. Previous to The RMR Group, Emma worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Energy Efficiency Engineer at WSP, New Ecology, Inc. and Vanderweil Engineers. She has focused her career on improving the performance of existing buildings.
