Zach Soflin, AIA, is the Founder and CEO of Layer. With a background as a licensed architect, Zach spent nearly ten years at the Nebraska-based BVH Architecture. He also served as a lecturer at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where he taught parametric modeling and its application in architecture.
Motivated by a desire to improve the building lifecycle, Zach brings vision and energy to Layer. As a licensed architect with extensive experience, Zach has developed a knack for solving problems. He taught himself to code, allowing him to blend architectural knowledge with technological solutions. He oversees company operations and product innovation at Layer.
