Tom Fisher, Assoc. AIA

Tom Fisher, Assoc.AIA, is professor in the UMN Department of Architecture, and director of the Minnesota Design Center. Former dean of the College of Design and past editorial director of Progressive Architecture, he has authored 12 books and 630+ articles. Recognized in 2005 as one of the most published U.S. architecture writers, Fisher has led $5.7million in research, co-founded two nonprofits addressing homelessness, and is the 2025 Topaz Medallion recipient.
