Guanzhou Ji

Guanzhou Ji is a board member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) - National Committee | Building Performance Knowledge Community (BPKC) and a technical committee member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Commission on Illumination (CIE). His research focuses on indoor photometry, physics-based simulation, and design computation. Guanzhou has presented his work at Velux Daylight Forum (2021), ASHRAE Building Performance Analysis Conference (2023), and Radiance Workshop (2024), and he received the Student and Emerging Professionals Scholarship (2022) from the U.S. Department of Energy and International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) - USA. He is a member of the IBPSA - Education Committee and IBPSA - USA | Project StaSIO. Guanzhou received Ph.D. in Building Performance and Diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University, where he worked at Illumination and Imaging Laboratory and School of Architecture.
