2147 Washington Street is a passive house, mixed-use development that provides affordable rental units and for-sale condos marketed primarily for local artists engaged in the Roxbury neighborhood's creative economy. The project includes an interior courtyard with rotating art installations, workshop space, retail and commercial spaces, and a new home for the Haley House Bakery Cafe. It contributes to the revitalization of Nubian Square through economic development without displacement, affordable housing, and sustainable building practices. Join us to learn about building in relation to community needs, catalyzing neighborhood revitalization, and supporting people at individual and economic levels.
