Urban Sketching in South Boston Seaport Area

Additional fee, registration required.

Bring your sketchbook to this experiential introduction to the techniques and methods of urban sketching during the research and design process. As we walk through the city, sketch leaders will demonstrate how they use sketching to understand the world around them and to develop ideas in architectural design.

You'll learn how to use drawing as a practical research and design tool, develop a natural grace in the way you design your projects and engage the world around you, and build a reservoir of place-based design ideas. The tour will end with a "throwdown" where attendees share and discuss their drawings.
