Visions in Practice: A Conversation with 2026 Honorary Fellows

Join the AIA Committee on Design as we celebrate the induction of Rossana Hu, Dorte Mandrup, and Takaharu Tezuka into the American Institute of Architects as Honorary Fellows. Three of the world's most distinctive architectural voices — spanning Shanghai, Copenhagen, and Tokyo — each bring a singular design philosophy shaped by culture, climate, and craft. The session opens with individual presentations highlighting their most celebrated works, followed by a moderated conversation exploring how each navigates context, materiality, and human experience. Together, they offer a rare global perspective on what it means to practice architecture with depth, rigor, and humanity.
