Distinguishing Between Storefront, Curtain Wall, & Window Wall Applications

The architectural aluminum framing industry started over 110 years ago from a need to find a more durable and sustainable material than wood for glazing in brick and block commercial buildings.
Today, architectural aluminum framing systems comprise many subcategories. This session will focus on three such systems— storefront, window wall, and curtain wall—reviewing the features, characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages of each along with examples of applications each was designed for. You'll leave with an appreciation for the uniqueness of each system and an understanding of how to select the correct one for every project.
