Spaces That Spark Imagination: A Tour of the New Children's Museum

This guided architectural tour examines the New Children’s Museum as a case study in expressive form, environmental performance, and civic integration. Unlike most children’s museums, its exhibitions are created by fine artists rather than educational specialists, allowing Rob Quigley, FAIA’s architectural design to serve as an open, flexible framework for creativity.
The tour also extends to Children’s Park and the New Children’s Museum Park, designed by Spurlock Landscape Architects. Together, the museum and its surrounding public spaces illustrate an integrated approach to architecture and landscape, shaping a dynamic, child‑centered cultural campus for families and the broader community.
