Influencing Change Through Grassroots & Industry Advocacy

Advocacy is an important lever for driving positive, widespread change. But you don't have to have all the answers to be an advocate. One strategy for influencing change involves leveraging accessible resources and the collective knowledge of the AEC and AIA communities.

This session will share, as an example, the process of integrating Dallas Climate Action priorities into the local municipal bond program's $1.25B capital infrastructure investment. Join us to learn about goal setting, solution ideation, effective communication, and much more so you can outline your own advocacy plan around core themes vital to the AIA Advocacy platform.
