The new MIT Museum offers a glimpse into research and other aspects of MIT's history. Join us for this tour to learn how the engagement with museum staff informed a new organization that dispenses with traditional front- and back-of-house delineations. Plus, discover how coordination with all building systems produced a cohesive result; how the team addressed technical design issues like vapor barriers on the exterior envelope; and how the museum offers new ways of thinking about transparency and openness in cultural institutions, especially science and tech museums.
