ET106 – The Heart & Soul of College Park: Transforming Baltimore Avenue

Additional fee, registration required.

Mixed-use projects can transform communities, and this tour will showcase some of the more unique combinations and their tremendous impact.

Situated along Baltimore Avenue (U.S. Route 1), two projects grew out of the redevelopment of College Park, home of the University of Maryland. The first, an AIA Design Award winner, combines College Park City Hall with space for the University of Maryland—and creates a stunning public plaza at the heart of the city. Second is the Aster, a housing and retail project whose fantastic design and amenities are keeping graduates in the city.
