Connect at the AIA Awards Gala & After-Party

It’s going to be an unforgettable night of recognition, inspiration, and camaraderie at the first-ever AIA Awards Gala—a red carpet-style celebration honoring the 2024 AIA award winners at the historic National Building Museum! While the gala is sold out, you can still snag a ticket for the After-Party, where you can network with today’s leading architects and designers over drinks and dessert!

Get your book signed at the AIA Design Shop

Meet AIA Gold Medal recipients, get your book signed, and maybe even snag a selfie! 2024 AIA Gold Medal recipients Ted Flato, FAIA, and David Lake, FAIA, and 2023 AIA Gold Medal recipient Carol Ross Barney, FAIA, will be signing books at the AIA Design Shop from 10–10:45am on Friday, June 7.

The AIA Design Shop is located in the West Salon of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Books will be available to purchase on-site.

Celebrate the newest AIA Fellows

Fellowship is AIA’s highest membership honor—recognizing the exceptional work and contributions of AIA members. The Investiture Ceremony and AIA Awards Celebration is a free event, open to all, where you can watch (and meet) the newly elevated fellows as they are inducted to the AIA College of Fellows.

Recognize excellence at keynotes

During the June 6 keynote featuring Arthur C. Brooks and the June 7 featuring Dr. Sanjay Gupta, we will honor select AIA award winners for their exceptional contributions to the profession. These sessions are the most attended events at conference every year—be sure to attend!

Explore the Grand Lobby display

Prominently featured in the Grand Lobby, the AIA Awards display highlights recent AIA award winners, including the AIA Gold Medal, Architecture Firm Award, and Whitney M. Young Jr. Award. The COTE Top Ten for Students will also be on digital display in the Grand Lobby.

Visit the expo awards display
